At this time I was told Jody, Bozich and Freak don't have a home. Dave/Scott and Bob/Will may move to 1450AM (another cumulus station). Not sure why they would do that because that station does not have great reach. I feel bad for some of these people because it was the only job they had. Joe B/Denny make me sleepy after 10 minutes. Give John L and Drew Deener a few more listens they may come to grow on you. Unless your not a John L fan. Will keep you posted on what I find out next.
November 20, 200817 yr This much I know (from a very good source): two television stations are working on stories that may name someone in the Louisville community as having unduly used his influence to remove some of the 93.9 hosts from the airwaves. Stuff may surface in the next few days. Stay tuned...

November 20, 200817 yr Is Tom Jurich involved in this in any way? That's what I'm hearing. There's talk that he personally prevented the hosts from gaining access to people involved with any university sport and I even heard he was beginning to bring pressure to bear on some of the sponsors. It really doesn't put Jurich in a good light. I hope his involvement is exaggerated. In any case, I'm really going to miss this station. I was a huge fan of Dave and Scott early in the morning and I really liked some other shows as well. Any word on where Trinity football is going to land now that the station is no longer sports? I know IU football already has a new home on AM.
November 20, 200817 yr What did Bob V always say at the end of his show. "I'll be here tomorrow unless someone knows something different". That show they talked way too much and only gave callers seconds. Some dude named Andy got a lot more time, and I don't understand why. John L and Deener... are fine, but how will John L. do during basketball season? EXACTLY Bozich show was Ok, was imformative and had nice guests. Freak just moved to a new apartment. Didn't listen to Jody except in the car, nice guy. Dave and Scott argued too much and talked too fast for me. 1450 can't get here near Mt. Washington Will like the Oldies/Rock format.
November 20, 200817 yr UL isn't on Cumulus down there is it? If not I don't see how Jurich is going to strong arm a major radio company...
November 20, 200817 yr Author I was just getting into Dave and Scott. While they do argue a lot, I think that is what I liked about them. THey sounded like me with a couple of my freinds having a beer. I was not big on Valvano, but I liked what Will brought to the show. Bozich and McRite I thought did a nice job. It boils down to local vs national. I prefer to hear about what is going on in our area. There were several callers that ate up to much of the air time on MOST all of the shows. Andy, Carolina Steve, and a couple of others. But it gave you something to make fun of later. I hope that Jurich is not involved. BUT........... Hopefully some other station has the ........ ability to bring these shows back and get this area back on local sports radio!! :fight::madman::fight::madman::fight::madman::fight::madman::fight::madman:

November 20, 200817 yr UL isn't on Cumulus down there is it? If not I don't see how Jurich is going to strong arm a major radio company... No, they WKRD 790. Who knows how the other would be possible?
November 20, 200817 yr Is Tom Jurich involved in this in any way? Yes, I heard that from a very good source a couple of weeks ago. It is a sad day for Louisville radio and this gives TJ yet another black eye. His child like antics are getting old.
November 20, 200817 yr Any word on where Trinity football is going to land now that the station is no longer sports? I know IU football already has a new home on AM. Trinity High School football radio broadcasts will move to AM 970 WGTK starting Friday, Nov. 21. This was home to Trinity Football for the past few years, before they moved to the ESPN affiliate this season.
November 20, 200817 yr Is Tom Jurich involved in this in any way? From what I was told by "a good source".....this was straight corporate with Cumuluus (sp?) . . .the numbers weren't there, and corporate just doesn't care. It will be an oldies station tomorrow.
