Guys no offense, but you Raceland guys have no idea what has gone on the past few years. All you know is what you have heard. We have a new super. who is really putting alot of effort into getting the athletics at GC back to where it should be. We have the talent and the support. I understand that TJ was done wrong, but that had to do with a totaly different group of fans, parents, admin etc. It doesnt represent what is going on now.

I agree. GC AD Chris Alister and new Super are not in the Good ol' boys club.

Also found out that KB Johnson quit today.

I really don't think that Chad Tackett would be interested, just from conversations that I have had with him. Things may have changed now, but it would surprise me if Chad applied.

Well, it's been about an hour and a half........what's the new rumor in Greenup regarding the head football coaching position?

Dowdy and Baker did play together at Greenup County, I don't know if it will happen or not, but Dowdy does live in South Shore and has many connections at Greenup County.

Greenup County needs to do a legitimate search for a football coach, not someone from the Good ol' boy network of the lower end of the county. That is what is wrong with the school's program now and it will not change unless they bring someone in that knows football and they give complete control of the football program to that coach.
