Iwas wondering where you were at, Cat. I believe your pick of Allen Central last week gave them the kiss of death. I hope it is the same for this week. In fairness, I know its hard to pick basically any region class A team to beat Pville at Pville. We'll keep our fingers crossed!!:thumb:

I wonder when the last time a team from the opposite district beat Pikeville at Pville? I know Evarts beat them @Pville in 1990 but thats as far as I can go. Surely Harlan, Lynn camp, Cumberland, Pineville, Williamsburg, oh yeah, Middlesboro was in that Class A district for years...surely someone got them at home in the last 18 years? HDE?

Lets see here Pikeville beat Allen Cent. 43-42 and Harlan beat Allen Cent. 46-6, well Pikeville is at home and they may have improved, Pikeville wins a close one 16-15.

Lynn Camp came close in the late 90's, but I think we lost by a late field goal.

I don't know about Middlesboro. I know they beat them at least once in the playoffs, but I'm not sure where it was played.

Evarts was the last Harlan County team in 1990. Cumberland let one get away a few years later when they were absolutely loaded with talent.

If you would of ended with Hazard, you would of been right on the money. What has Pikeville done this year? How many have they won? Who have they beat? I think the Pineville/ Paintsville score friday shows that entire region is way down with the exception of Hazard. That is simply the facts and the season has shown this to be true. Even Hazard hasn't played close to the hype going into the season but still has a chance to do something special.

Pikeville isn't near the BIG BAD PIKEVILLE OF OLD AND THEY HAVEN'T BEEN IN THAT LEAGUE FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS. Harlan walks away with this one and anything less than by at least 14 points will be a shock.

Surely to the Almighty Pikeville is better than Lynn Camp this year (with the injuries) and we beat Harlan AT Harlan!
