I agree BBDM that Macon kid is a hand full he"s not only good out of the special teams position. He is also strong out the back field. And will be trouble if Estill can"t defend the pass because that"s where he is truly strong. And lets not forget Chris Thomas. Estill may have a good running game but by far Chris Thomas is one the best backs in the state.

I don't think Taylor will stop Estill but a few times Friday, if their offense can keep up they make a game of it, but I don't see that happening.

The double wing will pound the Cardinals into submission. Estill wins this one by 2 or 3 TDs.

The trick to beating Estill is to get ahead early and make them play from behind. If Taylor Co. can score on their first couple possesions while keeping Estill out of the endzone it could be a long night for the Engineers. Estill doesn't have the offense to overcome a very large deficit at all. Of course that will be no easy feat for anybody to do against Estill this year. I am going with Estill by a TD. After watching both teams this year I think Estill has what it takes to win this game. Do not underestimate the impact Macon can make all over the field. He is much more than just a return threat. He has size 6'6" 250+ and speed (don't know exact numbers but he is deceptively fast). If he is putting forth an effort he is a load. Knock on him in the past is that he would take plays off, didn't see that as much if at all this year. He is a load to tackle out of the backfield and can out jump whoever is guarding him in the pass game. If you sell out to stop Macon then watch out for Thomas, he might be stopped early but this kid gets tougher and tougher as the game goes on. I think Estill can win this game but do not underestimate Taylor.

Estill County is a good team but they are sort of one dimensional.There has been no team that has beat Taylor County by just running the ball they better be able to pass to. They may have got away with that with that weak schedule they played but i think thats not going to fly this time around. Good luck to both teams.

After looking at the combine wins and loses of Estill County schedule. Teams they have played lose 63 percent combined of there games. Compared to the wins and loses of Taylor County which is 52 percent. A double digit lose ratio amongst its teams they played this year. Should be a good one.
