It's cold so I'm sick.

Featured Replies

As predicted on saturday I'm coming down with a bit of a cold. I kinda thought on saturday that this might happen seeing as how it was 40 degrees out and we were all standing outside tailgating before the NKU game saturday night. Turns out I was right.

This weather blows, I skipped two classes and came home and slept for about an hour and a half and still feel like junk.

Also gotta love how my insurance mysteriously got screwed up at work, so I'm gonna have to tough this one out myself.:cry:

Yea I told my friend at the game Saturday that half the people there would be sick come Tuesday, I wrote him this morning, and he said he was sick. By this evening he text me and said he thought he was dying. lol

I hate these cold bursts, I'm never prepared, and when you're rocking a shaved head, it doesn't take much.

I rarely ever get sick....

Maybe once a year...if that!

I haven't been in over a year, I know I haven't been to the doctors once this year.

The outside temperature has nothing to do with you getting a cold. That's an old wives tale. Besides, this is beautiful weather, you should enjoy it! :thumb:

Why then was it not until I spent most of the day yesterday washing cars in the cold that I got sick?

Actually it does have an affect on your getting sick. It may not be the main factor but it is one nonetheless...

So if you go from hot to cold to hot to cold conditions you will not get a cold?

Simply being cold cannot make you sick.

Never said simply being cold makes you sick but it doesn't help you keep from being sick..

I know if you sit in a cold room long enough your nose starts to run.

It's one factor though.

I totally love the weather, sorry you all are sick though.

This weather blows, I hate having to wear layers. BTW, how are you not sick my friend, you're throwing off the numbers. I do think a hat on my head may've helped to prevent this some though.
