November 10, 200817 yr Anyone going to get one? It's blackberrys long time wating answer to the iPhone. I have an iPhone and I dont see how the storm could be better. But you never know. Best buy is taking pre-orders for them now. The pricing is yet to be released. But with a new 2 year contract its said to be in the 2-300$ range. No contract price is just over $500. http://www.blackberry.com/blackberrystorm/
November 10, 200817 yr I admit I am quite biased but I had the opportunity to get an iPhone and chose to keep my heavily beaten up Curve. The storm looks nice and I honestly think it will be better than the iPhone but from what I've seen I'll probably get a Bold when they come out. Though the Storm could be the answer for a lot of customers who were thinking of getting an iPhone.
November 10, 200817 yr I can't type on an iPhone and the storm apparently has some revolutionary new type of touch keyboard, I can't wait to see it, but I will most likely keep my Curve until I get a Bold.
November 10, 200817 yr My contract with cingular runs out pretty soon. I was set on an Iphone but the Storm and a few other phones have made a recent push. I've got a few questions for some of Bluegrass Preps' more cell phone savvy members when I get time.

November 10, 200817 yr Unless your willing to change providers the storm will not be available through AT&T. Actually it will be....People I know at Cingular has already said that they will be getting the Blackberry storm but the exact date wasn't released at that time.
November 10, 200817 yr Unless your willing to change providers the storm will not be available through AT&T. I'll be sticking with Cingular. You can always find unlocked phones online. I don't mind to spend money on something I'm going to own for 2-3 years. If I check out the storm and like it, I'll find an unlocked one.
November 10, 200817 yr It's worth it to sign a contract IMO. 200 or 500 for a phone is a big difference.
November 10, 200817 yr It's worth it to sign a contract IMO. 200 or 500 for a phone is a big difference. Yes it is. Which is why I will probably get an Iphone unless the storm is absolutely amazing.
November 10, 200817 yr ^ Only bad thing I heard about it is that it doesn't have Wifi but if you have the data package which you have to have with Verizon to get the phone you don't even need Wifi.
November 10, 200817 yr Author I had a hard time typing on an iPhone for awhile too. But I fly with the buttons now. Even if you misspell something jus keep typing and it fixes it for you! If it comes out for AT&T I may get it. But I will not pay the unlocked price for it. It can't be that much better than my 16gb iphone.
November 10, 200817 yr I have a question for the Iphone owners. Any of you guys use the live TV services for it ?
November 10, 200817 yr Author I haven't tried it didn't even know it was available. I'm gonna have to look into it! Edit: it requires you to have a jailbroken phone I'm a little scared to jailbreak mine.
