I'm sure the Generals will really load it up to stop Miles, but it only takes one or two missed assignments/broken tackles and he can take it the distance. I look forward to the game, I think it will be a good one. How do the Generals use Burnside? I noticed his rushing yards are down from last season, is he mostly just a short yardage beast?

Burnside is a strictly between the tackles type of runner. His yards per carry are up from last season, but he is not going to outrun anyone going outside.

 

This appears to be a close first round match up. Lafayette needs a win to shake their first round playoff exit bugaboo.

SK is a great team. But I think Lafeyette will win by at least two scores.

SK isn't great, they are good, and can start something nice with a win. I hope SK comes out like they have the past three games, I'm sure they will be prepared, but the players must believe they can win.

Is parking a problem at Lafayette? Looking at google maps, and I can't tell if there is an abundance of lots. What about traffic around that part of town around 6pm?

Parking is a problem, but I would not expect a big crowd with this evening's weather forecast. There is always a spot on one of the side streets near the stadium leaving you a short walk.

 

Traffic in Lexington between 4pm and 6pm is always a problem. It just does not flow well.

 

And the game. I think Lafayette has lost five straight, first round playoff games. That includes a first round loss to South Laurel after going through the regular season undefeated. 2006 was the year. This will be a big monkey to get off Lafayette's back. The muddy, sloppy, poorly lighted field will be a nice advantage for the Generals. Getting humiliated at Trinity last week will not help Lafayette's cause.

 

I have not seen Simon Kenton, but if they play turnover free football, they will beat Lafayette in a mild upset, in my opinion.
