I'm sorry. I meant to say this Saturday, Nov. 22nd.

I assume if the football team gets beat on Friday night that a few of the football players who are playing basketball will find their way to Lexington for the scrimmage. I am sure Coach Biggs will encourage them to come on out. A day off is way over rated....:ylsuper:

Its always hard to count Ashland out, no matter what they got they play their best with them. This sounds odd because they are usually a regional power, but they might be a dark horse this year and surprise people.

How did it go at Lexington Catholic? It wouldn't be reasonable to expect a win since it was so close after the Highlands game the night before. Ashland probably didn't have Skaggs or Bonner.

I hope they slow it down and pound it inside with Bonner. Then when the double team come's hit the guards for the wide open shots. With the double team happening Johnson should put up pretty good numbers this year. They should play a zone defense so they keep Bonner/Johnson out of foul trouble and depth of the bench. Good Luck Tomcats!

I heard yesterday that it was a large margin 50+ in favor of LC, but again, they didn't have the football guys. Perhaps someone can fill in the details.

It was about 50. We were using a make shift Varsity/JV/Freshman team. The boys ran several of the sets correct, but against that speed it didn't look that good. We finally got everyone out yesterday for practice. So, I believe that we'll be ready.

The Tomcats will be headed to Montgomery County to scrimmage the Indians tomorrow. Should be a good one, will anyone be attending?

Bonner out the opener vs Lewis due to ejection last Friday night?
