With Tennessee losing to Wyoming, and South Carolina defeating Arkansas, it appears as if UK will definately be going bowling.

The Question is which one will it be?

Right now UK stands at 6'4 with SEC wins over potential bowl qualifiers Arkansas and Mississippi State, they have games remaining against Potential Bowl Qualifying Vanderbilt, and Tennessee.

SEC teams records (Bowl Eligible in Blue, Eliminated From being Bowl Eligible in Red):

ALA 10-0 (MSU, AUB)

FLA 8-1 (SC, Citadel, at FSU)

UGA 8-2 (at AUB, GT)

SC 7-3 (at FLA, at Clemson)

LSU 6-3 (Troy, Ole Miss, at ARK)

UK 6-4 (Vandy, at UT)

Vandy 5-4 (at UK, UT, at Wake Forest)

Ole Miss 5-4 (La-Monroe, at LSU, MSU)

AUB 5-5 (UGA, at ALA)

ARK 4-6 (at MSU, LSU)

MSU 3-6 (at ALA, ARK, at Ole Miss)

UT 3-7 (at Vandy, UK)

SEC has 9 Bowl Tie-Ins, there is no way that UK goes to Sugar or Capital One Bowl.

In order for Miss State to be Bowl Eligible they would have to beat Arkansas and vice versa...

Auburn's work is cut out for them...

If both Florida and Alabam win out then the SEC should have two BCS teams freeing up another spot...

UK is heading back to Nashville or maybe Liberty. If Vandy beats UK then they are heading to the Liberty Bowl. If UK beats Vandy and them looses to Tenn it's Music City. If UK wins out then I could see Peach. But I don't see UK beating TN on Fulmers last stand.

What if Vandy beats UK, would that hurt their chance and send the Commodores to a better Bowl game?

IMO Cotton Bowl is out of the question unles LSU just completely drops the ball in their last three games.. if LSU wins one more game you can almost assuredly put them in the Cotton Bowl.

Georgia has the Inside Track to the Capital One Bowl unless something happens to Florida or Alabama along the way.

South Carolina has the best shot at the Outback Bowl, but Vandy could get there if they win out. Also, if USC drops both their games and UK wins out we could see UK in the Outback Bowl.

If UK beats Vandy I would say that the Chick Fil-A Bowl is almost sealed up..especially if Ole Miss loses another game.

Very doubtful... Music City bowl is afraid of deminishing returns, which could mean UK gets penalized and falls from Chick Fil-A all the way to Independence or Papajohns Bowl.

No wins=Music City bowl or Liberty, depending on if Ole Miss gets selected for the Chick Fil A or Music City. If Vany wins vs. UK and beats TN, they should go to the Chick Fil A bowl. The only way UK ends up in the Liberty bowl is if they lose both there last 2 games and Ole Miss beats ULM and MSU and gets seleceted for the Music City. I don't think Vandy will get selected for the Music City because it doesn't bring any money in for the city. Alot of football between now and then.

The cotton bowl will come down to the Ole Miss LSU game winner goes to the cotton bowl loser is out. Cotton bowl takes a west team 9 years out of 10

I think they beat Vandy and UT and get in the Chik-Fil-A (aka Peach) Bowl.

If they beat only Vandy or UT, they are in the UK Invitational (Music City) again.

Lose both and they hopefully get in PJ.com

If I were the Music City Bowl, every year my Top 2 selections would be UT and UK. Why do you say they are afraid of "deminishing returns"?

If they lose both they would end up in the Liberty Bowl I think

How do the bowls mentioned as possibilities compare to each other ? What bowl would be the most prestigious ? Which would be the least ?

So far I've seen :

Papa Johns

Liberty

Music City

Chick-Fil-A

Outback

All the 2nd and 3rd tier bowl games just mesh together for me, so I voted for Liberty bowl.

A bowl game is a great accomplishment for this team considering what they lost due to graduation.
