Pray that God calls for an awakening in this country that has people reaching out to help people in poverty by THEIR OWN means through churches.

 

Pray that God calls for an awakening to the horror of this country thinking that somehow it is acceptable for a society to kill their unborn children. They do this in China with the 1-child limit and we call it a human rights violation.

 

Pray that God calls for an awakening in this country to the greed that circulates too much in people's hearts and they are ambitious enough to create great deals of wealth but also caring enough to set up programs and foundations to help others seek to better themselves. NOT simply handouts.

 

Pray that God calls for an awakening among Christians that all of these things lead others to wonder where this love for others comes from and based on and learn that it is through the grace provided to us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

 

Ironically, this is my prayer no matter whether it is Obama, McCain, Nader, Barr or someone else.

IF (notice the emphasis on if) Obama wins, what are you going to do? Are you going to flee the country? Are you going to protest on the steps of the Capitol?

Same exact thing could be asked of Obama supporters.

I'm just tired of people on both sides saying they are going to do this or that when in all reality, you are going to get up Wednesday morning, go to work and do what you are asked to do.

If he wins, I will do exactly what I did when Clinton won. Continue to go to work, surely pay more taxes and hope he doesn't screw with the industry I work in the way Clinton did.

I will give him a chance to prove to me he can do the job. If he's doing things I don't like, I will point it out, but like it or not he will be my President and will likely be more respectful about his position than many on the left were toward Bush in his first two years alone. If he really starts screwing things up and messing with the 2nd amendment, my respect ends.
