November 3, 200817 yr I heard from a friend this morning that there was a new state record musky caught at Cave Run Lake yesterday afternoon. I haven't heard anything official yet, but if its true, everyone can expect an official announcement soon. The unofficial size was 54" and 47 lbs. :scared: I always knew there was another state record swimming around in Cave Run:thumb:

November 3, 200817 yr There was a Muskie tournament this weekend. On Saturday, the prize she won was a new Lure. She promptly went out the next day, used the new lure, and viola` - a state record fish!

That guy is a guide at Cave Run and the girl is his daughter or step-daughter, according to the guy that e-mailed me this morning. I don't know her name.

November 4, 200817 yr Aren't muskie a pretty nasty fish? By nasty I mean some pretty sharp teeth. I sure in the heck wouldn't step foot in a lake if I knew the mini lockness was potentially going to nibble on my toes.
