A marriage, religiously, is a union between a man and a woman.

Civil marriage and religious marriage are different institutions. I have no problem with homosexual civil unions but I'd have a major problem with a homosexual union in the form of a religious marriage.

What LBBC is trying to get across, is if you believe that you shouldn't tell two adults whether or not they can get married, then why do you think it is OK to tell a brother and sister to not get married?

I don't think it is anyones business who someone marries. I don't see the harm and don't understand why to control someone who don't agree with.

I think there are two issues. The first is the legal rights conferred by marriage. I can't think of a compelling state interest in controlling the civil union of adults. The second is sacrimental marriage. To me, that is a matter for individual churches to establish for themselves.

That is my point. If you want to take the argument that two consenting adults should be allowed to do what they want, than you open that Pandora's box of how are you going to say incest between two adults is illegal and wrong.

I'm suprised no one has brought animals into this debate yet. That's usually where it goes when we try to point out the sins of homosexuality.
