Sounds like a great game. Frankfort has a very opportunistic defense.

I'm not shocked that they did it...I just didn't agree with it...40 secs left in the game we pooch kick it and give them great field position...Makes no since to me...:confused:

Danville changed their defense in the second half and played a 3 man front to add more speed on the field. (they did samething 2 years ao in playoff game against FHS) The Ads shut down power off tackle because FHS couldn't block the middle LB. The adjustment shut the FHS offense in second half. FHS was up 21 - 0, had the ball on 25 after Weaver had 35 yard gain. Threw slant pass for int., that was a big game changer. FHS was picked off the again and set the Ads up for another TD in second half.

 

Both teams made plays. It was a great game.

Sometimes, but the fumble wasn't a result of any strategically placed hit and the interception was due to a misread between the qb and receiver. I'm not saying Frankfort doesn't have a decent D, but I thought the Ad's turnovers were more a result of bad decision making and carelessness at least tonight.

FHS defense is a pressure defense. Kids have the green light to blitz. Danville had a hard time picking up stunts 1st half made the adjustment at half-time. They control the ball second half and wore down the defense. FHS missed to many tackles.

 

QB draw was a great call at the end of the game. :flame:

I was at the game, congratulations to FHS you guys took advantage of the DHS turnovers, made a big play at the end of the game. How you let anybody get behind you in that situation is beyond me. BUT, I also think some of the coaches need to man-up and shoulder some of the respnsibility. First there has got to be a way to get and keep the players focus, when Danville was warming up they seemed to be just lop-lollying around. Second the method of play calling in the first half kept the DHS offense out of rythum. It's taking to long to get plays called from the press box, then the quaterback has to look at coach Brannock to see if he wants to run the play or check out of it. Takes to long, caused several delay penalties and frustrates the players. Danville has the ability to play far into the play offs, they came back on a good athletic team, just dug too big of a hole at the begining. It's play off time now fans get behind this team they deserve it. When the play offs start in two weeks everybody is 0-0. DHS is at home for all their playoff games. This is their chance to shine. Lets get behind them and show our support.:thumb:

I believe they kicked it deep one time...
