"There appeared to be some loss of feeling [in his left hand] and we wanted to be certain that we weren't putting him in a precarious situation, so our training staff recommended that under those cirumstances, we should not play him. We're really not sure how it happened. He tried to go and they re-did the cast at halftime. They tried to get him more comfortable, but he just lost feeling and was quite uncomfortable." When did it happen? "I believe on the last drive [of the first half]. There was a facemask penalty where he was kind of torqued and had to put his arm down, but I'm not certain."

October 26, 200817 yr Why hasn't the transfer from Notre Dame been given a shot? That offense needs a kid that can make plays from the QB spot and he has the qualities to do it, so we have heard.
