two scenarios.

1. They beat Corbin and those points will likely move them up.

2. Somerset just ends up not being any good. I don't think this will be the case though.

Tough draw for Henry County. Especially after they shut out a few teams. Very strange they finish last in the district.

Option number two under region 1 will happen. Tilghman has forfeited the game versus Webster. Due to head to head for tie breakers, Webster makes the playoffs and McLean is district runner-up to Union County. Muhlenberg South is third in District 2 3A.

A collision course with Lou. Central in the regional Finals,,, if not a collision course for a a tough matchup with Etown in the 2nd Round.

 

I disagree that they have beat good competition. North Oldham's most difficult Non-District foe has been 4-4 2A CAL.

 

Etown has played Bardstown, Lou. Holy Cross, Larue County, and Central Hardin who I would consider all to be tougher than CAL. We won't even get started on Lou. Central's Non-District games and victories.

By whoever wins their first round games,....

 

 

 

 

Seriously, the second round games are determined by matching up based on seedings from the cross districts. Say for example you have District A and District B.

 

If A1 defeats B4, and B2 defeats A3, then B2 would play at A1. If B4 upsets A1, then precedence for whoever hosts goes to the lower seed so B4 would travel regardless to whoever wins between B2 and A3's game.
