Williamsburg 28 Lynn Camp 12

Featured Replies

The refs are always something the losing and road teams will complain about. It seems its the same thing when we play at home. I remember in 2004, Williamsburg came into Lynn Camp a heavy heavy favorite, and LC played within a td and ha chances of winning the game. The burg fans were on here saying how it was the refs that kept that game close. The refs were bad Friday, but they were bad both ways. The two fumbles the spot on 4th down near the goal line, pass interference no call, and the when the moved the chains at the end of the quarter hurt LC. LC also got away with two pass interference no calls, a lineman down field on a punt, and late hit out of bounce. These where big plays, all around. They won, we lost, time to move on get ready for Hazard and get ready, to try to get some momentum going into the playoffs.

Sir this is one of the wisest posts I've seen in some time. My compliments :thumb:

Congrats to Williamsburg on a District Title.

As for all the other stuff it is just static at this point, the score is in the books and the Jackets won. Refs could call holding on every play, everyone would agree on that, but they never do, why? Well just like the sun coming up in the east, that is just the way it is. I heard Kirk Herbstreit say once "there are no bad calls just bad angles" I don't know if I agree with that but I know that there are some bad officials, not cheaters but just bad. Now WB/LC was a big game and should have had better officials assigned, so sounds to me like who ever assigns them let the fans, teams, and coaches down with a poor assignment.

Right, Magnum.

This game deserves the better crews year in and year out.
