If you would have asked me three weeks ago I would have gone with Lawrence County, but after seeing how bad Rowan County laid the lumber to them, I really don't know. Lawrence County is a tough team to figure out. Greenup County has a fine QB in Craft, but they don't seem to have anybody that can catch the ball. I'll go with Lawrence County by 8.

I believe GCHS has talent enough to catch the ball just those kids are mostly sitting on the bench becase they are not Seniors. Not that I'm saying the Seniors shouldn't play just mix it up a little bit .

It's hard to choose. I would have picked LC until they got pounded by Rowan. That loss causes me concern for LC - have they given up?

 

It is always hard to beat LC at LC. But, I'm going with GC in a close one on the road.

As far as giving up I was just told by a LC parent that some of the Senior boys has quite the team is this true?

I'll take LC in this one. The Daws have played the tougher schedule and played it close. As for what happened at Rowan, everyone has a bad game. Keep in mind this is a young team and is playing teams that have far more seasoned players. I think LC wins this one and makes a good showing against Letcher County Central and Breathitt County.

I didn't know they had enough seniors to make an impact.

I think Greenup will win this one (which usually causes them to lose, it seems).

LC has 3 starters that are seniors. I hope for their sake that they didn't quit. It would be a shame to miss out on playing the end of the season your senior year!
