Talk about a TOTALLY different feeling leaving the "Big Man Davis Field" last night than 3 weeks ago, and man it feels good. I'm still excited this morning, woke up and can't go back to sleep. :banana:

 

Great game Gilliam, way to run that football, big play after big play. Also, great kid...I heard he thanked his O-line in the huddle after the game cause if it hadn't been for their awesome play, he said he wouldn't have gotten all those yards. :ylsuper:

 

Congrats to all the our Black Bears. Several of our Bears had great games last night and we are proud of each and every one of you. The Bear Nation always knew you could do it, and you came out and showed us you can.

Is Harlan Co. 5A? I know Middlesboro is 2A. It should not be much of a surprise that a 5A team would beat a 2A team that is rebuilding.

 

C'mon. Corbin barely beat this poor old rebuilding Middlesboro team...

 

A Harlan County team had not beaten Middlesboro since 1990 I heard, it is a big deal. Are we really going to beat that 5A horse again, because I believe Middlesboro just shut out the biggest school in the state of Kentucky 26-0 in Dunbar (6A) a few weeks ago. Class size is mostly irrelevant.

M'boro's Poor run defense comes back to haunt them once again. You would think Roark would learn to at least play some Zone coverage after you have given up 400 yards to 1 player!!!!!!!!

Class size is meaningless in most cases. Especially when the smaller school is a city school compared to a County. City schools such as M'boro and Corbin have huge advantages over schools such as Bell and now Harlan County. A lot of those County school players especially here in the Mtns. have sometimes up to 60min ride to get to practice were the City kids have a 10 minute walk. That is just one of the obvious advantages. I am tired of hearing the tired excuse from the school on the Whitley/Knox line.

Coach Larkey did a good job at finding our weaknesses and exposing it , I've personally saw him at at least 2 Middlesboro games this season , he did his homework and that's what great coaches do (they find that weakness and attack).

You are trying to donwplay the game, Saying M'Boro is rebuilding...Which is true, And It's killing you that you haven't said It yet. You wanna say Corbin would beat HCHS

Wow Yellow Jackets didn't have a run defense to give up those kind of yards. Didn't expect this to happen this way. I thought HC would beat them pretty easy but not having a 400+ rusher on top of it.
