Absolutely a tremendous effort by the Black Bears VS a very good Middlesboro team.

The line opened up the holes and Gilliam didn't mess around. Woooooot! Feels good to win at home!!!!!!:dancingpa Adams has got to be worn out. He played a good game too, but the Bears wore him down.

 

What I loved about tonight was that the Bears didn't ever quit. They just kept on pounding!! Way to go Black Bears! HArlan County's proud of ya!! Phillip and Ison are beast!!!

This would have been your game my friend...Gillaim had three 79 yard TD's and a 58 I know of...Adams had at least two big TD runs. Roark looked good early but left due to injury. MBoro's recievers made some unbelievable catches early. HC made some very good adjustments at half.

I believe he had 48 total points scored tonight which would be 5th All Time in points scored per game. He had three 2 point conversions I believe.

Holy Cow! That ranks 4th in the STATE ALL TIME in rushing yards in a single game! Only Henderson County in 1997, Bowling Green in 1996 and Paris in 1969 had more yards. I guess we really witnessed history last night. It didn't seem like that much damage was being done at the time, I guess because the game was always in question.

WOW! Congrats to the bears and Nathaniel on a heck of a game. I've saw some 300 plus yard games down here in Corbin but this effort right here is probably the best rushing game in this state since Moore's Monquantae Gibson had 520 something back in 2001. Keep up the good work.

When he busted the run up the middle in the early in the 3rd, I was thinking...man we may never see a performance like this again. I guess people's perspectives are different though. You are right about the game being in question though....even when we were up 3 scores in the 4th I was always scared they would come back...I guess that is part of the "Learning to Win" process

Is Harlan Co. 5A? I know Middlesboro is 2A. It should not be much of a surprise that a 5A team would beat a 2A team that is rebuilding.
