Alber had three touchdowns, two of which were over 50 yards. He had over 100 rushing yards in the first quarter. Well played game by the Tomcats, the JV got plenty of action in this one. Now onto a big district game at Bryan Station.

Rumor is that Mr. Ryan Whetsel got his first high school touchdown on an interception return! Attaboy Rhino!!!:dancingpa

Yes Ryan had a very nice run after the interception, he is playing really well for the cats.

Congratulations Ashland. Get ready to play a lot better competition next week!

Very nice run after the pick. I'm guessing it had to be 50-60 yards on the pick. He broke a couple of tackles, and then took it to the house. The first of many in this young man's career.

I heard on the radio that Greenup rushed the ball something like 30 some times for a total of -28 yards Ashland defense is really stepping up now.

I just hope Sun doesn't realize that the officials on this game do JFL also:cry:

I thought Ashland looked flat to begin the game. The kids were on Fall Break this week and they were coming off of an emotional win last Saturday night. I think they were just a little out of kilter – I know my household was off-schedule this week.

 

But, they seemed to settle down did what they needed to do. The JV got a lot of time and there was a running clock most of the 4th quarter.

 

Alber had some nice runs. Hunter is gaining confidence at QB each week.

Greenup had a retired GC teacher/coach on the crew at Boyd Co. and got shut out. hmmmmmm.:sssh:
