"Kill him!" - It never happened at Palin rally

Featured Replies

I'm waiting for those that were so angered about this supposed statement to give their take on the situation now....Doubt we hear from them.

Am I wrong or did I not hear those words in the "youtube" clip below?

Wasn't sure which thread to post this in so I chose here.

I only watched 15 minutes last night but this was the section I watched.

I thought McCain did repudiate sentiments like these in past meetings (Arab comes to mind) and I applaud him for that. I also thought he did right by telling Obama that he did not appreciate being castigated with segregationists and that won points with me.

No, that isn't it. The "kill him" statement I've referenced in the past came from this article. To my knowledge this one hasn't been dropped by the Secret Service.

Reading that link the shout appears to be directed at Ayers, doesn't it? It still is WAY inappropriate and over the top.

There's video footage of a McCain/Palin rally somewhere and some guy yelling "kill him".

I would like to see the video. Not that it matters to me than one lone nut in a crowd of thousands yells something objectionable, but it does not take an expert to add a voice over to a video. Witnesses are more reliable, IMO, than a shout in the background.

What is wrong with the video that is already posted that has generated a Secret Service investigation?

I'm confused. Wasn't the above video that is linked a rally where the phrase "kill him" was said?

I'm asking for clarification.

See above. I will look at the video again. However, way too much has been made of a couple of nutcases yelling at a rally of thousands. I have no doubt worse things have been said at McCain rallies and Obama rallies, which have not been reported.

It only takes one nut with a gun to make it happen. That's the scary part.

I too think you can't screen the nut jobs who yell anything to be heard. I just thought that the above video was the one everyone was discussing. It sounded pretty clear to me. Of course if we play it backwards it might say, "I buried Paul."

That's always been the scary part. I wonder how many nuts are stymied that we never hear about.

Please tell me what is worse than wanting someone killed?

In his mind, your statement is true. I have never witnessed any individual with the arrogance that Obama displays.:irked:

:thumb: I 100% agree cville, that man is the definition of pompass, how anyone could think that he can relate to the common man is way beyond me.

There is nothing worse than that, you are correct. I just question how legit those claims by the Ducky Obama camp were.

Both cantidates I am sure have heard some pretty bad things yelled at them at rally's. I certianly hope my suspicions about whether or not a death "shoot him" threat was yelled out are true and that it wasn't. That is the definition of a crazed lunatic (and there are plenty of them out there in life) as is anyone that would manufacture such a story (insert Obama camp here:rolleyes:).

I am not saying that it will not or could not happen to either cantidate, I will say that I certainly don't believe that either camp would ever condone such an act (like Obama tried to hint at:mad:).

This was the second accusation - the first one comes from this rally . . .

So yes, it has happened, just not this time in Pennsylvania. So no apologies coming from this poster.

Can someone tell me how to post the video straight to the thread??

I've listened and listened and I'll be darn if I can hear anyone say "kill him", could someone help me out here?
