October 17, 200818 yr I mean the information.I hope that filings from the Lousiana Secretary of State's office will suffice. I know that it is not CNN, but it is the best that I can do. Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now Citizens' Services, Inc. Note that the registered agents for both organizations are the same and the date each organization filed its last report was 12/10/2007. Same address, same registered agent, same report date - it could all just be a series of coincidences but I believe that ACORN and CSI are affiliated, just as I said and your fact checker needs to be more careful.
October 17, 200818 yr Does anybody still buy ACORN's attempt to portray themselves as an organization having no ties to Citizens' Services, Inc.? Any comments on the Obama campaign phony filing that masked the nature of its $832,000 before the Ohio primary and its subsequent amended filing? It sure looks like the Obama campaign has worked hard to hide Obama's ties to ACORN. I am eager to see how many million dollars will go to ACORN and its affiliates that will not get reported until after the election. Somebody is paying for those thousands of bogus registrations.
October 19, 200817 yr Obama's ACORN scandal is broadening. It's gotten so bad that there was just a hard-hitting report on CNN (of all places) about the rampant fraud being perpetrated by ACORN operatives. According to the story, in Philadelphia alone, there are up to ten thousand possibly fraudulent voter registrations attributed to the group. They go out and hire the homeless, drug addicts, and alcoholics to get names on sign-up sheets. Each person hired is given a quota to fill. So the incentive to fill in fake names is great. They said that, often, whole pages would be turned in with the names all in the same handwriting.

Does anyone really think someone is going to turn up at their voting precinct and identify themselves as Mickey Mouse? No, instead these "operatives" as you like to call them are just trying to make more money but signing up more people.

Does anyone really think someone is going to turn up at their voting precinct and identify themselves as Mickey Mouse? No, instead these "operatives" as you like to call them are just trying to make more money but signing up more people. And the sheets will be thrown out. This is a red herring, period. There is no VOTER fraud it is voter REGISTRATION fraud and they are two distinctly different things and the Republicans know it.
October 20, 200817 yr No, instead these "operatives" as you like to call them are just trying to make more money but signing up more people.More people that don't happen to exist, that is.
October 20, 200817 yr And the sheets will be thrown out. This is a red herring, period. There is no VOTER fraud it is voter REGISTRATION fraud and they are two distinctly different things and the Republicans know it. Nope, one in the same. Fraud is fraud...no matter how those whom are guilty of it want to spin it.
October 20, 200817 yr Nope, one in the same. Fraud is fraud...no matter how those whom are guilty of it want to spin it. But it really only effects anything if all those voters show up on election day, which they're not going to because they don't exist.
October 20, 200817 yr Thanks to Democratic opposition to photo IDs to establish the identities of voters, it is both possible and likely that there will be voters on election day that will vote in multiple precincts under multiple names. The Ohio Secretary of State is working hard to make it more difficult for election officials to detect voter fraud. It is amazing to see so many people defending ACORN and attempting to trivialize voter registration fraud.
October 20, 200817 yr And the sheets will be thrown out. This is a red herring, period. There is no VOTER fraud it is voter REGISTRATION fraud and they are two distinctly different things and the Republicans know it. A first step toward voter fraud is voter registration fraud. They are separate but not unrelated.

All I'm saying is that no one is going to present themselves as Mickey Mouse and try to vote.
October 20, 200817 yr Nope, one in the same. Fraud is fraud...no matter how those whom are guilty of it want to spin it. I agree that both is wrong, but they are not one in the same. A fraudulant application is not the same as a fraudulant vote. FWIW, I believe that we all should have to present a photo ID at the voting booth.
October 20, 200817 yr I'm not defending ACORN. All I'm saying is that no one is going to present themselves as Mickey Mouse and try to vote. No, but how many John Smiths have ACORN and its contractors registered? Is it inconceivable to you that a John Smith who was registered with multiple addresses might vote in multiple precincts or that a John Smith bused in from Chicago and registered with a phony Ohio address might manage to cast a vote or two?

In fact in Ohio I would be willing to bet any amount of money that it has already happened. Additionally I would be willing to bet that people who are dead voted.

People who don't want to get it either don't or are trying to defend it. Laughable.
