October 20, 200817 yr Here we go again. I'm not sure I have the strength to argue this.I can understand your reluctance to debate the point further. I trust that the links to the Louisiana Secretary of State's office have at least convinced you that there is a relationship between ACORN and Citizens' Services, Inc. Obviously, ACORN funding is coming from somewhere. If not from the DNC or the Obama campaign, then I suspect taxpayers are footing a good part of the bill directly for the voter registration fraud efforts.
October 20, 200817 yr Here you go. That's the one...as a matter of fact, I think I got it from you the first time!!!
October 20, 200817 yr I guess I'm less concerned about Mickey Mouse actually voting than I am about legitimately registered voters being turned away. When it gets right down to it, I think that's why this is one of those issues that is way, way on the back burner for just about everyone other than the Limbaugh/Hannity dittohead ":thumb:"crowd.
October 20, 200817 yr If being concerned about voter registration fraud makes me a ditto head, despite the fact that I rarely listen to Rush, then all I have to say is, "Mega-dittos, Rush!" ACORN INSTILLED FEAR: WORKERS By ADAM NICHOLS and JEANE MacINTOSH Posted: 4:51 am October 20, 2008 Pushed to meet daily quotas and bullied by bosses if they didn't, Ohio ACORN workers faked voter registrations, signed up people more than once, and even paid off registrants to keep from being fired, its canvassers told The Post. "Every day, there was pressure on us. Every single day," said Teshika Elder, a Cleveland single mom of three who worked for ACORN this summer. "We had meetings every morning where they'd go over your quota; they'd yell at you if you were low," said Elder, 21. "They'd sit us down and say if you didn't do better, they'd suspend you. They'd say, 'Try harder next time,' [and] if you didn't get it, you'd be fired." Desperate canvassers sometimes resorted to trading cigarettes, cash and food in exchange for registrations, according to Elder and two other former ACORN workers, Jaymes Sanford, 18, and Selvin Cunningham, 23. Some voters were signed up more than once, and said that worried - or lazy - canvassers sometimes filled out bogus cards.
October 20, 200817 yr And its only Democrats that do it? It's the Dems that oppose voter ID laws so...
October 20, 200817 yr And you know, probably no one is going to be indicted this time, either. Point is, it comes from both sides. Then why to the Dems consistantly oppose voter ID laws?
October 20, 200817 yr It's the Dems that oppose voter ID laws so...Are you daring to suggest that there is a cause and effect relationship between photo-ID requirements and voter fraud? You sound like one of those dittoheads who thinks that widespread voter registration fraud will make it more difficult to hold a fair election where each voter casts only one vote. This is such a transparent attempt by Republicans to disenfranchise Democratic voters who have just made a series of honest mistakes that resulted in them registering two or three or seventy-three times! Maybe you need to stop watching Fox News or listening to right wing talk radio and tune in to MSNBC between now and the election.
