The plaintiff in this case is a former Attorney General of Pennsylvania and a life long Democrat. I do not believe that there is anything to this complaint but it is curious that it has not been dismissed. Supposedly, there was a birth announcement published in the Honolulu daily newspaper in 1961. I posted an image of it in another thread. As for the paternal grandmother, she could just be confusing B. Hussein with one of her son's many other offspring. Barack. Sr. was a drunken low life and nobody seems to be able to say for sure how many wives or children the man actually had.

If Obama was born in Kenya, then there is a big issue. At the very least, that fact would mean that Obama has lied about his place of birth for decades and covered up the truth. If Berg is correct, it would mean that Obama was not a "natural born" citizen and could only have become a naturalized citizen Naturalized citizens are not eligible to run for president. I am not a lawyer, so I am not going to claim that my reading of immigration law is more correct than the former Pennsylvania AG. I have very skeptical because of the newpaper birth announcement but nothing about Obama's past is going to shock me.

Obama must meet the requirments - Barack Obama may not legally be a US natural-born citizen according to the law on the books at the time of his birth; a law that was in effect between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, when the law was changed. However, the new law did not preempt the former law in the cases of those born between the above listed dates when the old law was in effect. Got that from a Fox News forum.
