Grandmothers are some of the most honest (good and bad) people I've come across.

I believe her. Why would she lie ?

Interesting, I think they should just produce the evidence necessary to show he was in fact born in Hawaii and be done with it.

Wasn't McCain born in Panama? Ok, just had to throw that in there. Couldn't hold it.

On a US military base. Apples to oranges...

They would if they could...

The one he threw under the bus and said she didn't like black people?

I'll bet my house she says in the good old USA.

The bolded is false and you know it.

I don't know what the maternal grandmother will say. However, why is one grandmother more credible than the other?

What difference does it all make if he was born to an American mother?

As far as I know, it makes no difference. The situations are completely different though.

Obama -

Sen. Obama tell the story:

"He turned around and I saw that he was shaking. 'It is a big deal. It's a big deal to me. She's been bothered by men before. You know why she's so scared this time. I'll tell you why. Before you came in, she told me the fella was black.' He whispered the word. 'That's the real reason why she's bothered. And I just don't think thats right.'"

What difference does it all make if he was born to an American mother?

Only Constitutional ones.

She's not. By why in the world would one of his grandmothers claim he was born in another country if he were not?

I'm not big into many of these "anti-Obama" threads (even though I'm indeed anti-Obama ), but must admit that I find this issue extremely curious.

I was just comparing the two situations saying that McCain was born abroad, as well.
