Though we haven’t confirmed that KSHB is reporting this information, we’ve learned separately that, indeed, an effort is afoot to move Gonzalez out of Kansas City. October 11, 200817 yr What do you mean by future is bright? Do you think they are a playoff team within the next few years? They have some young talent. Hard to say because they are in a tough division. I think they have a good core and some potential for the next few years. I don't put them as low as Detroit, STL, or even Cincy,

October 12, 200817 yr I had heard this a couple of weeks ago. I think it's a good move for both teams as long as the Giants don't give up the farm for him. He's not the Tony G of 7 years ago.

October 13, 200817 yr If I were the Giants, I wouldn't give up more than a 3rd and a 5th for him. They have an extra 2nd and 5th for next year... :thumb: Gonzo would be a nice addition and a definite upgrade, but they don't NEED him. Therefore, they shouldn't overpay.
