Where is Losey & Robholz?

Losey is in the mix, but may be a year away. Rebholz, as of now, is not trying out.

What??? This young man should get plenty of playing time. This would hurt the CC bench tremendously if he does not play. It has been a joy watching him develop on the Varsity level in football. He has probably been the best all around player on the Basketball team for his group for several years.

Also heard big Nate Geimen isnt trying out, any truth to that?

That's the word on the street.

A lot of underclassmen have been rumored to call it quits to concentrate on Football which include three starters from last years Frosh squad. Bench should be OK, but that does appear to be a challenge for the program.

Which freshman quit? Thats never good because the CCHS freshmen class last year was very strong.

Thats ashame to hear he is a very talented player.

Totally agree about the 37th district. With Scott, Brossart, and Campbell all in the same district one of the teams basically gets the short end of the stick. That district is by far the toughest in the region. It is a battle come district tourny time, and any two teams could advance, and the other one gets tough luck.

Wasn't no different in the old 38th with Campbell,Brossart,Pendleton,Bracken & Silver Grove.

And in the old 40th you only had three teams Clark, Montgomery & Estill.

MMI was in the 40th for awhile.

This looked to be a very solid year for CC, now it's looking like it could be a struggle to have enough bodies on the floor. If the above players are not planning on playing, and on the Frosh thread, it appears that two very talented Frosh who could have gotten JV time are out with injuries, this year may be a challenge for Coach Code's boys.

What happend to the days of 35 kids showing up for tryouts? There has to be talent in that school
