Anyone know what football players came out. Sounded like the two best Soph's stuck by their claims that they were not going to play. Will this team have any quality depth?

Graff? Sinclair was cut last year wasn't he? Sounds like the two boy's who deided to not play has forced the Camels hand.

Obviously, the kids who made the team are the ones who have accepted the challenge and are willing to put in the time and effort! IMO, the ones who didn't try out lack the heart and will to win as a team. Nobody is bigger than the program itself!!! The sun will rise in the East and CCHS Basketball will move forward!!!

How can you say that? That is the most ridiculous comment saying a kid has no heart because they do not want to play basketball.

 

Why is it not OK for these 2 athletes (Rebholz & Geiman) to concentrate on other sports? It has nothing to do with lack of heart but wanting to get better in the other sport(s) that they play.

Exactly...their heart is in football and whatever else they play, not basketball!!! What coach would want a kid to come out for the team if their heart wasn't into the sport! I'm tired of hearing people cry about kids not trying out whose "heart" wasn't into it!

Great points!! The team will survive and prosper with kids who have their "heart" into the program; and best of luck to those who choose to pursue other interests!! :thumb:
