I have no problem with them charging whatever they feel is a good price. Neither of those two teams are having trouble selling out the games. A team like Tampa Bay can't fill up their stadium and they have the cheapest tickets around, so the price isn't the problem.

I bring a soft cooler to every game at St. Louis. As long as you have plastic containers (no alcohol of course) you can bring drinks in as well. I usually pop some popcorn and bring in other snacks as well.

 

I find it amazing they would let you undercut their concession profits like that.

They are making plenty.

If they didn't let people do this it would cut into their profits. I would not go too as many games if I could not do this it saves money so I can go to multiple games.

It has been like that at Cardinal games for as long as I can remember. They thought about changing it after 9/11 but they diddn't. They just check each bag as you come in the park.

Hey if teams want to pay that kind of money to watch the 3rd place team in the AL East play then more power to them.

Dickie V typically has some excellent insight on sports, as long as it does not involve ACC basketball in any way, shape, or form. I totally agree with him.

I paid $67 per ticket to a Reds game last season for my birthday and sat in the front row right on top of the Reds dugout. It was the best seat in the house as far as I'm concerned. And then the following week I paid $7 for a nose bleed ticket which wasn't a bad view either! This is what all staduims should charge.
