Yes it's allowed. The only KHSAA requirements are to not make "dispariging announcements". The opposing team, especially after giving up 49 points, may not like it, but it's certainly "allowed".

I would say we shouldn't take this so seriously. He's probably a really good guy that loves the Camels and brings some entertainment to games there. The non-football stuff is probably not professional, but neither is high school football. It's for the kids and enjoyment so enjoy the PA dude!

Good luck the rest of the season. All chiding aside :argue:, Mason has a solid football team. Pawsett and Gilbert (not excluding others), gives this team a great future. Sounds like the Camels/Royals contract ended this year, so it sounds like you do not need to endure anymore.....

Suffering 3 turnovers and still scoring 28 makes for a lot of "what ifs"...sounds like Mason held their own in this game. Prior to the Mason Co game, Campbell was yielding an average of only 16 points per outing.

 

Some posters are looking ahead to the Mason vs. Russell matchup. I have seen both of these teams in action this season...regardless of where that game is played, Mason will handle the Devils.

No disrespect intended toward the Camel D...never did I think all the turnovers were unforced. Mason did score more than the average against Campbell though.

I didn't get to the game, but I am curious. Is this the same announcer that does the basketball games for Campbell County?

 

Congrats to the Camels on the win. Looks like the Royals' defense needs to get a little bit stouter heading into the second half of the season. Sounds like tonight's open date may have come at a great time in the schedule.

No, the football announcer is a parent of one of the football players. The basketball announcer is a student from NKU. He also does some announcing for the Florence Freedom I THINK.
