October 1, 200818 yr I'm surprised UM v Illinois is that close. I chalked the UM win over the Badgers as a fluke.
October 1, 200818 yr Right now I'm really liking Illinois (+3) and Wisconsin (+2)....Texas at (-14) and Tennessee (-15.5) are also catching my attention.
October 1, 200818 yr Just found some more interesting ones Michigan -1.0 VS Illinois O$U -3.0 @ Wisconsin Virginia Tech -28.0 VS WKU Florida -21.0 @ Arkansas Air Force -6.0 VS Navy Miami (FL) -3.0 VS Florida State Kansas -14.0 @ Iowa State I really like Kansas they should win by more than 14 @ ISU.
October 1, 200818 yr I take Kentucky South Carolina and Auburn Auburn Vandy game wont even be close... Welcome to the Big Boys Vandy!
October 1, 200818 yr What makes you guys think KY can stay within 16 of the Tide when Georgia couldn't. I'm seriously asking. Saying they are 4-0 and have won back to back bowl games doesn't cut the mustard with me.

Seriously, I wouldn't touch that game, but I can't imagine that the Tide will get as fired up to play Kentucky as they would to play Georgia, and they could just coast through the game. But like I said, I'm not touching it.

If they were anything less then 4-0 at this point Brooks should be fired. The Louisville game is the only one I would maybe give them a pass on but the more I see Louisville that win gets less impressive. UK will be lucky to keep this to 14.
October 1, 200818 yr I like UK, Vandy, and South Carolina in those 3 games. I agree, I'll take the points in every game

Saying they are 4-0 and have won back to back bowl games doesn't cut the mustard with me. Alabama is coming off a huge win, one of their biggest wins in a while. It was a hard fought game, and they are on cloud 9 right now. Remind you of anything? How about last year when LSU came to town after a hard fought, huge win against Florida? Sure, UK is going on the road this time, but its college football. Who would have thought Ole Miss could upset Florida? Or Oregon St. would beat USC? How about Navy beating Wake Forest? And oh yeah, all those happened last week. Anythings possible!!!:thumb:

October 1, 200818 yr Didn't Georgia only lose by 11?Yep, meant to put "stay within 10" at the end of that.
October 2, 200818 yr I know guys who bet almost for a living and I mean they bet some big bucks. If I took the Cats and the points I'd be crazy and the same if I took Bama. I just don't agree with these spreads. One of these guys ask me to give him some tips on some teams since I knew the SEC pretty good. I gave some info and later he told me he used four of my picks....I was so worried that he used them I couldn't sleep.
October 2, 200818 yr Not a huge sports better, but I do win more often than not....I don't bet anything even close to big money, more as a hobby, but anyways....I wanted to see what the more experienced betters feel about my possible plays this week... Duke (+13) Illinois (+3) Wisconsin (+2) BYU (-30) Kansas (-13) TCU (-24.5) Texas Tech (-8) UConn (+7)
October 2, 200818 yr Author I like the Illinois and Kansas game for sure, in my mind they are almost locks.
