I do not support the bail that was voted down yesterday. I do not support a bail out along the same lines as voted down yesterday. I can't really say I support any bail that puts the tax payers at risk and allows ANY of the management of these companies to make one penny. They should all be fired with out any buy out of any kind. They should only be given 10 mins to grab their personal belongings and get the heck out, don't let the door hit you in the behind. They then need to take a long hard look at options that would allow these companies to come out of this. I am not a economics wiz and couldn't begin to know what those options would be but I thought Hearsay's post in the other thread sounded pretty good. There has to be ways to get captial flowing through these companies without simpling buying all of their screw ups.

Without some type of "bailout", the following things will occur:

1. Businesses will close

2. People will lose jobs

3. More people will lose homes

4. Businesses will close

5. People will lose jobs

6. More people will lose their homes

7. Businesses will close

8. People will lose jobs.........

I got news for you, this will happen with the bail out.

That is certainly the worst case scenario, and possible, but no one knows what will happen.

I like that.

Congress in session Monday - DOW drops 776 points

Congress out on Tuesday - DOW rises 420 points so far

CNN said "I just don't understand" today and said they would explain why we need a bailout.

FOX's Shepherd Smith said that I was in the "vocal minority" Monday.

In my idiocy, some portfolio moves I made today have netted approximately $3500 so far.

I wish I had the money to play with the next couple of weeks.

Maybe that's what needs to happen for people to learn to live within their means. Sometimes painful lessons can be quite valuable.

I wish there was a 3rd option in this poll, because I honestly see positives and negatives either way the vote goes and as of now I am still straddling the fence on this one.

I agree...:thumb:

You mean when you're given more money for making really stupid financial mistakes you don't learn anything from it? :sssh:

Donald Trump mentioned some accounting change that would take care of everything. Does anyone know what this would be?

Vote TRUMP for president! America could use a no-nonsense kind of guy with a vast amount of financial experience in the white house for a few years.

Aren't we trying to send the message that greed is NOT good? Isn't greed what has gotten us in this current financial mess? I would think having Trump in such an exalted position would be, at best, sending mixed messages to the greedy clowns who put our country in this financial mess.
