September 29, 200818 yr This could be one heck of a boring game but Im hoping the Steelers offense comes to life. Does Flacco step up under the lights in his first road game, nonetheless on primetime in the Burgh' or does Rashard Mendenhall prove to us why he was selected in the first round? We need this win badly to prove we belong atop the AFC north, what say you?
September 29, 200818 yr I love my Steelers. However, if not for being at home and on Monday night, I'd have to give the Ravens the nod. O-line in disarray (by all of their accounts they have improved, and I suppose no better way than to face the leagues #1 ranked D) no Willie Parker (Mendenhall will get more attempts to be stripped than a pole dancer) and no Casey Hampton (the biggun' slipped and all of the load shifted and caused a pulled groin). So, with all of that staring you in the face, I don't feel overly confident about our chances after the Eagle prints still firmly on our foreheads. On the bright side, considering how goofy this league has become with absolutely no clear-cut fave, a win tonight keeps the Steelers in the upper crust of the conference and would go a long way into helping momentum heading into Jacksonville next Sunday before getting a bye week. Oh, then you get the Bengals after the bye.
September 29, 200818 yr The Ravens still have an amazing defense, Pitt is without Parker..it should be a good one.. I'll say Steelers, 23-17..
September 30, 200818 yr The Steelers look very pedestrian on offense, their line issues don't appear to be getting any better, and boos are raining from the stands at this point.
September 30, 200818 yr How has Mendenhall done? Nothing special to warrant his first-round selection.

I was on the phone with a buddy of mine a few minutes ago, and we were having a hard time remembering the last time we've ever heard the Steeler home crowd boo the team. I don't even recall it during Kordell's star-crossed tenure.
September 30, 200818 yr Is Baltimore even good or have they played 3 of the worst 8 teams in the NFL? Will they win the division w/ 8 wins? Will they beat an NFC team? Will anyone in their division win 1 game against the NFC?
