I would give him at least one more year. Heck, this is only his second year and he is still dealing with the monsterous schedule the Rodenburg left. The athletes that are at Cov. Cath now are not the numbers that Cov. Cath. had back in 05 and '06. Rodenburg stepped into a sweet situation there with an exceptional group.

I would give him another year under a schedule that is more realistic and I think Cov. Cath. will be fine.

Yeah, I say give him five or six more years. If he doesn't beat the Birds in that time frame, it may be time to think about making a change a few years down the road.;)

If it was any other coach, I would agree with you 100%. Brossart just does not have the respect from the administration, parents and athletes. He seems to be having issues... carryover from last season and into this season. You do not see or hear too many supporters in the Brossart camp. I think this will be his last asssignment in Park Hills.

Marvin Lewis may be available.....;)

When the current Cov. Cath. seniors were freshman I made the comment that this was one of the worst classes Cov. Cath has seen in a long time. I don't know if Brossart is a great coach or terrible coach, but I think he is lacking horses right now.

It's not necessarily the class as a whole. This class is very talented in certain positions and very weak in others. Van Sant, Isler, Schadler, Teppe, Restle, etc. are all very good players. It's the other positions filled by younger players that are killing the colonels, especially on D. I believe there were 2 sophomores on the field for a lot of the game on the defensive side of the ball that looked to me like 8th graders. I find it very hard to believe that neither the Junior or Senior class can find more talented players than the two youngsters I watched get plowed multiple times throughout the game by the physical Highlands offense.

Everyone has made their point. If you want to start another thread and discuss the game have at it but stick to the game.
