Brutscher (LB) is out for the season with a neck injury

Rockie, I don't hate anyone. Just like to see these guys lose sometimes. In fact when I travel and the subject comes up of High school football I mentioned the Rocks/X and usually in the positive.

 

I give the programs a lot of respect when I meet fans of these schools. Most of my sons soccer people on his teams are Catholic or have kids attend schools that are non public. These folks are very nice to me. I am from Alabama and love football and I give them credit and never bashed their kids or coaches.

 

Bama lost 13 games in the decade of the 70s, and I know what I'm talking about when it comes to people wanting to see a team lose.

Bama, folks probably thought the same about Bama back in the day, but you loved every minute of it since you were a fan. As a ND fan I liked Bama too because we owned them and the Bear too. I think he won just one game against us.

 

X and T own people today, and their fans love it. One day in the future, publics may become powers again, like they used to be. Hopefully not in my lifetime though.

Yes, the Crimsons are undefeated, but that's mostly because of an offense that is averaging 39.3 points. Manual is allowing 29.7 points per game, and the ugly numbers don't end there. Of the 13 touchdowns Manual has allowed this season, 12 have come on plays of 21 yards or longer. Eight were 54 yards or longer.

I saw the same comment from Coach Glaser in this morning's Courier-Journal, and it really caught me by surprise. I still remember that Deuce played some linebacker as a freshman and was outstanding. It will be interesting to see how playing both ways affects his offensive performance....GO TIGERS!!

Is it because they think they need him against Trinity and want to get him some PT?

Is it because they think he will play LB at the next level?

Is it because they like the production out of the other RB's and feel he will be more beneficial on defense?

I hate to read that 2 St. X players have gone down with injuries. I'll be watching in person at Paul M Young Field this evening. Rolandan Finch, Jr may very well serve Mr. Glaser's minions better at linebacker under these circumstances. This will add more spice to next week's titanic struggle.

Perhaps, however for conversation sake St X hasn't beaten Manual by 35 points or more in over a decade. I played on that Manual team and this current Manual squad is much better than that one.
