Henry County is makign a strong case to find their way into the 3A Top 5..... still need to beat a quality opponent though.

Yes they're 3-1... but I haven't been impressed yet either. Beat Russell and THEN I'll think they're for real.

I think I agree that Mason is taking care of business. They have only one lose and it was a nice effort against a 6A team. Prediction margins were much more broad than 10 points.

We are getting off subject for this thread, so this will be my last post.

 

This was the first game of the season.

 

Mason Co. has a totally new starting O-line, and a new starting soph. QB.

 

Paris scored first, and it took a bit get things rolling in this game. But, Mason Co. scored 20 unanswered points by the end the game.

 

Final score 20-6 Royals.

How were both teams passing game?

Nothing against PC, but beating them 58-0 is no real defining moment! PC has struggled to get their football program going in the right direction!!!

Sooner or later you're going to have to give this bunch from Henry County some love.

The love will come when they play above average teams.

Coach Engstrand has done a great job with the Wildcats this year. I don't care who you are, but keeping the opposing team out of your endzone for 4 straight games or 192 minutes is an accomplishment. We give them props each week.

 

Big test for them in North Oldham this week. Best of luck to the Wildcats!!
