It sure seemed as if there was some good hard hitting football going on friday night. Dixie has some nice athletes, with Wilson, Brock and Haggerty. And I just wanted to comment on Dixie Heights facilities. I have been all over the tri-state covering High School football. And, That has to be one of the best high school fields, stands, concession and parking that I have ever seen. Great job and good luck!

So why didn't Tom pull his starters like Dale did. Oh yeah, he wanted to give them some valuable playing experience. Wasn't scoring 47 the week before enough evidence what his offense is capable of doing in a big game.:thumb: Dale gave Tom the chance to put in his reserves but didn't. So when Tom wanted to continue to throw the deep slant for some quick scores, Dale decided to let Tom know it's time to call off the dogs by reinserting his machine. It wasn't risking, what it take 2 or 3 plays to score. The best thing about playing Dixie again, which will more than likely be in 2009, we get to play them at our place. Sounds like you have a grudge? Highlands is better than any team in NKY this year. Yes, even CCHS. But Did Gino's little brother really play in the 4th quarter??? I guess he has faith that the backup is as good as the starter...But in most cases they are not. But, we are talking about the Birds though
