Good job cvillecat, I would have made the same comment but you beat me to it.

I'll take Fairview in a close one. Both teams are talented, Raceland is probably more talented. I just have a hunch in this one, no real reason.

Fairview is much better than people expected but I am taking Raceland 21-7.

 

:thumb: I have been saying that all along. I expected the Eagles to be good and I know that some others on here did as well.

If the game were being played on BGP we know who will be the winner. I sure hope the players at Raceland are not over looking Fairview like the fans are. I think Fairview deserves at least a little respect from the Raceland contingency at least until they have won the game. Then start the the in your face comments. I have been a Raceland fan for many years and will continue to be for many more but some of the comments made do have a tendency to put a bad taste in your mouth. Have a little respect for Fairview. They just might have a lot of big talkers eating crow.

There also been several people who have picked Fairview to win. I don't see the Raceland fans dressing down their opponent.

I think the Raceland fans are more then giving Fairview their due.

 

Raceland had better be ready for a football game or Fairview will have season changing night.

 

There are no easy wins on Raceland's schedule, and the players had better start believing that.

 

Raceland will have to play their best game so far to win this game. Fairview is big, fast and strong. Raceland's defense will have to step it up and play stingy defense to lower that ppg stat. The offense will have to put some points on the board. And the penalties will have to cease immediately.

Fairview has a lot of talent, I just don't think they can stop the 1-2 punch of Carver and Denton for 4 quarters. So, with that being said I will say Raceland in a good one early, but in the end the Rams will be to hard to handle.

Cut and run accusations regarding school spirit? Thanks for our defense Ram and Oldrambler. Where is the proof of overlooking Fairview? Other threads of a "local school" always talk of blow outs and winning by 30 and naming the score. I have yet to see this in our thread or any thread by Raceland fans. If anyone wants to call us out, let's see some proof!
