Yes Dillon is out for the season.
Thanks. I am sorry to hear the news.
Wow sure missed Dillon at QB but we will be better next week ,and next , and next congrats to all the Eagles good to have the factor back welcome back coach and we will beat those private schools because we are the golden eagles !!!!! who does JC play next week does any body know.

At Shawnee HS in Louisville. They're 0-2 after a 41-14 loss against North Oldham and a 42-6 loss against Lafayette. Long road trip for the Golden Eagles, but hopefully it'll be a chance for our new quarterback to become more confident in reading and directing the offense and improving the ballhandling and exchanges. Got to cut out the fumbles before we go to Versailles on Sept. 26th or Woodford County may blow our doors off the way they've been playing the last couple of games. That being said, there was a lot we can build on and take from this game going forward. Several crucial plays made by some young players at vital times to preserve this win in a game where the Eagle backs were against the wall. Good to have some close game experience like this early; I think it'll help us in the battles to come against the Woodfords and Hazards and Belfrys of the world.

Congratulations to the Eagles!

I'm sorry to read about the loss of your QB. What happened?

WOW! Im looking forward to seeing a line score on this game. It sounds like it was a real battle of heavy weights. Im very sorry to hear about the injury to Dillon...I sincerely hope it may not be as bad as is being reported this morning.

Congrats to JC! Im delighted to see the "local" boys win this one.

Congrats to the Eagles. Obviously a really good team. I had stated earlier that I thought BS could go undefeated in regular season but maybe it wil be JC. I do know that BS has a good team and results may be different come playoff time. Good luck to both teams. Sad Dunbar fan here......

I hate to hear that...he is a nice player....what type of injury did he have?

This was a good battle and an exciting game to watch. It was a back and forth game. Good luck to BS this season and a big win for JC.

He's got an injured shoulder ligament, same shoulder he injured last year and had surgically repaired, I believe. This actually happened the week before, not during the game with BS; J.K. Hall took the first snap at QB against BS and played there pretty much the whole game, so he's had his trial by fire and got the win.

Congrats Eagles you can go 10-0 and everybody in the state knows who's going to win it in class 5a (Highlands) and that just stinks. Good luck against the private schools come playoff time. It's just not fair to the public school kids.

:lol::lol:Since when did Highlands turn private!!!!! Congrats to Johnson Central, it sounds like you guys are going to be the team to be reckoned with in 5a this year. Looking foward to making the trip in November.

I would have loved to of seen them come to Louisville to play Louisville Central. That next to Male - X would have have been the top game in the state. It might have been a shock for JC though. Anybody that went to that game will tell you the atmosphere over there was bananas. Everyone from the team to the dancers to the cheerleaders to the band to the parents put on a first class show.
