Doesn't matter, he should have been smarter than that in the first place. It was too soon after Palin's comment about lipstick and it will anger some women voters. He needs to think things through a little better.

Of course, but comparing something wrong on the Republican side to something the Dems have done doesn't make it right. The fact is, they're misrepresenting Obama's words out of context to turn people against him, especially women, and that doesn't coincide very well with McCain's promise to run a clean campaign. When this is a thread about the Dems doing the same thing, I will condemn that as well.

I'm a little late to this political party but nothing has had bigger play than the 'Well Obama is just as inexperienced" argument about Palin coming from the right side.

How is that remotely related? Biden didn't take something completely out of context, stoke the fire with a misleading add, and then ride it for all it's worth. Biden said how can you say you're for A when you don't support B? I don't really see where he deliberately took a remark out of context, implied a different meaning, and used it in a political smear ad.

I tend to think that women will be more upset at the McCain camp for trying to play them. Both sides need to stick to the issues, not this type of garbage.
