September 10, 200818 yr I'm a little late to this political party but nothing has had bigger play than the 'Well Obama is just as inexperienced" argument about Palin coming from the right side. :laugh:Good one. The Rep have been screaming for months that Obama has no experience. Then after the Palin pic the Dems want to attack her experience. The Rep are just repeating what they have saying for months (also what Biden said during the primary).
September 10, 200818 yr Only way the GOP knows how to win an election. If they set foot in the issues arena, they get their butts handed to them. Not a chance.
September 10, 200818 yr If some feel that way, sure. In this specific ad, if what BoondockSaint said is in fact true, then it is a lie. Shouldn't that make them more angry?
September 10, 200818 yr Not a chance. Really, is that because the majority of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction?
September 10, 200818 yr On Tuesday, Obama criticized McCain's economic policies as similar to those of President Bush, saying: "You can put lipstick on a pig ... it's still a pig. You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still going to stink after eight years." The McCain campaign contended that the comments were directed at Palin, the GOP's first woman on a presidential ticket. In her acceptance speech last week, she had referred to herself in a joke about lipstick being the only difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull. Accusing Obama of "smearing" Palin in "offensive and disgraceful" comments, the McCain campaign demanded an apology - though McCain himself used the folksy metaphor a few times last year, including once to describe Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's health care plan. http://www.ktla.com/pages/content_landing_page/?Obama-Defends-Lipstick-Remark-=1&blockID=53338&feedID=1198 I especially like the bolded part.

The Rep are just repeating what they have saying for months (also what Biden said during the primary). Obamas experience has it's pros and cons and Dems have argued for it plenty. Palin has as close to zero experience as you can get and the Reps have come up with no other argument besides the one I previously stated.
September 10, 200818 yr And all of the unbiased media is attacking Palin, please... This is why I can't watch more than 4 seconds of Fox News.
September 10, 200818 yr Really, is that because the majority of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction? If that is what you are basing your opinion then the Dems have as much if not more to be blamed for. They have controlled congress for two years now and the country has gotten worse under their watch. Now that is not to say the Rep aren't to blame as well, they are. The whole bunch has screwed up and Washington is as broken as ever. But to say the rebs would get their butts kicked is laughable.

It'll take years to clean up George Bush's mess, and if I'm not mistaken, he's been the commander in chief over the past two years that the dems controlled the senate, or was he on vacation again....
September 10, 200818 yr The Republicans and their supporters (Fox News, included) are bending over backwards to find "insults" aimed toward Gov. Palin ...

Bush's two terms, his party controlled both the executive and legislative branches. And the Democrats are just as much to blame?

It'll take years to clean up George Bush's mess, and if I'm not mistaken, he's been the commander in chief over the past two years that the dems controlled the senate, or was he on vacation again.... If you will note, because obviously you only retained the parts of my post that you wanted to, I said the Dems can be blamed for as much as the Reps (Bush included). Bush has spent money like Bill Clinton at the strip club and congress has done nothing but sign the checks. Congress's approval rating is almost single digits. They control the house and senate. People need to wake up and quit buying the left's bull that the countries mess can all be laid at Bush's feet.
September 10, 200818 yr In six of the eight years of George W. Bush's two terms, his party controlled both the executive and legislative branches. And the Democrats are just as much to blame? When the Democrats took control oil was $50 a barrel. What is it now? But everyone wants to blame Bush. The economy was just fine two years ago. How's it doing now? Oh, but that's all Bush's fault right? I don't even know why we have Congress. They obviously don't do anything and have zero control or say about what happens in this country.
September 10, 200818 yr Obamas experience has it's pros and cons and Dems have argued for it plenty. Palin has as close to zero experience as you can get and the Reps have come up with no other argument besides the one I previously stated. Obama's experience has been endorsed by 18 million voters. Palin's has been endorsed by 1 voter. Nuff said.
