I have until midnight tonight to decide. I keep the #1 waiver spot until I use it. My concerns are that someone MUCH better and a much better help to my team will emerge. But, I could use the WR depth and he had a stand out game. I'm a little torn on this. I'm thinking of dropping Mendenhall or maybe Mason and just simply upgrading the spot. I'm also thinking of standing pat, I already know that he isn't going through waivers as two other teams really want him. Here is my current team. Please help.

12 team league. Four pts QB TD, .5 ppr, flex, start 3 recievers.

1. Marshawn Lynch RB

2. Ryan Grant RB

3. Torry Holt WR

4. Edgerrin James RB

5. Santonio Holmes WR

6. Roddy White WR

7. Felix Jones RB

8. Rashard Mendenhall RB

9. Brandon Jackson RB

10. Brett Favre QB

11. Tim Hightower Rb

12. Derrick Mason WR

13. Owen Daniels TE

14. Jon Kitna QB

15. Pittsburgh DEF

16. Mason Crosby K

Marshall comes back next week, so Royal will not be getting as many looks. Take that into consideration.

Get Matt Cassel. Who knows, he could blossom. Worth the chance

Okay, this is coming from a fantasy football novice. Could someone please explain the waiver process to me? I wanted to drop a couple of my players and pick up some free agents, but I was told that they were on waivers until Wednesday morning. What does that mean?

Sorry for the thread jack. FWIW, I was trying drop Gaffney and pick up Royal on waivers too!!!

If someone is ahead of you in waivers, and you both attempt to pick up the same player, they get the player. If no one else tries to get Royal, your waiver position does not matter.

Once someone gets a player, they go to the end of the list,

Oh...sounds simple enough. Thanks for the explanation.

Get Royal, even when Marshal comes back Royal will get 15-20 points a game because the BRONOS are going to get it in his hands one way or another, like last night they ran him out of the backfield twice. He is a weapon. I'm surprised he wasn't initially picked up, he was my 4th pick up in the league, I've heard too much about him this off-season through the Denver wire.

Drop Mason.

You like Brandon Jackson?

Ryan Grant and Brandon Jackson both on your roster makes little sense.

Drop Mason, Royal will still get a bunch of looks even when Marshall returns.

Why?

Why?

Being prepared is a bad thing.

I wouldn't pick Brandon Jackson unless I had Ryan Grant.

Try Sammy Morris. Both Sammy and Maroney have split the carrys for New England since last season. With Brady gone and a tough offensive line, the Pats may look to run the ball much more until Cassel gets adjusted; which could be weeks. Morris has been as consistent as Maroney, if not more. They're alot of steals right now in free agency markets, it just depends on what fits your team the best.

I'd take Cassell because Marshall is still the #1 guy in Denver IMO.
