Going for 4th and 1, instead of kicking a FG was a big mistake. They had to have 2 scores to win. D had just 3 and outed Bal.. Take the 3, kickoff, get the ball back, now you need a TD. Now you go for 4th and 1. Marvin essentially ended the game with 6 minutes left. Also add the fact that the team quit after that point, I am calling for Lewis' head. I'm not saying he is the core problem, that would be Mike Brown, but Lewis has failed here. He needs to go.

I've never in my life seen a team with so much play so poorly. I think I heard the total offensive yards after the first half was 38 yards?

You know I kinda feel sorry for our young fellow posters that really have never seen our pro sports teams succeed. They have no idea how this city gets energized when a team is succeeding. I thought the same thing, and after reflecting, I think they MUST have done it bc the receivers and Palmer just weren't on the same page heading into the game, or that they're just not healthy still and didn't want to make it too obvious. That's the only logical thing that I can come up with.

This team has no heart and doesnt care about winning. Ocho Stinko is a key ingredient to the problems on this franchise. He is all about him and not team. I hope he has a horrible season just so he can go away.

He is the only player I can stomach on the Bengals right now.

 

He is the main reason I still like them too. What a bunch of bums they have! They just got beat by a bunch of young guys on a mediocore team! The good news is it looks like the Bengals will get a really high draft pick next year:)

Offensive line is terrible. The Bengals are the only team in the NFL for whom Chris Perry would be the starting RB. I see a change in defensive coordinators has had absolutely zero positive effect on their tackling ability. They have 4 or 5 guys starting on defense that are no more than special teams players (or backups) on any other team in the league. This is one bad, bad team coached by a guy who, frankly, been nothing but a disappointment. This team will be lucky to get 3 wins this year and I'm betting Carson gets hurt badly before all is said and done. He is going to take ALOT of hits this year . . .

Palmer passed for 99 yards today. Horrible.

Should have never let Steinbach go. We had, IMO, one of the top 3 if the not the best O-line in the NFL 2 years ago with Levi, Steinbach, Braham, Williams and Anderson with Whitworth to back them up and now we got this. I really wish I could have had the courage to tell Mike Brown to pack up and leave Cincy when I saw him in person at training camp in Georgetown.
