I have two predictions in this one...

Ohio State playing like they did against Ohio, 60-3 USC.

Ohio State playing like they can, 31-21 Ohio State.

tOSU can not put up 31 on SC no matter how they play. SC by 21.

I personally hope OSU gets man-handled.

OMG...I agree with you...

I'll play Captain Obvious here and say that USC will be the heavy favorite and most have OSU written off before the coin toss is even called. However,

I was taught at a very young age to never say never so I will go into this game with that same mindset.

USC, like any other team can be beat but it will take a complete football game on both sides of the ball from OSU to make that happen.

OSU has been embarrased the last two seasons in the NC game and I think the players and coaching staff understand that if they want respect from outside their fanbase then this game is where it begins.

I think the Buckeye defense comes through in this one.( I hope)

OSU 17

USC 14

You and everyone else outside of the state of Ohio.

I still wonder why OSU agreed to play USC.

I actually gained a little respect for them scheduling a tougher team.

They had a cake walk to a big bowl game every year. If USC thumps them by 3 tds or more, you can kiss that NC game goodbye.

Why mess up a perfect situation ?

tOSU defense will keep them in this one!!!

Wrong! I am firmly planted in Kentucky and am a Buckeye fan, have been since the early/mid 70"s so I don't se that changing anytime soon.

I can respect that.

How did you become a OSU fan ?

I can respect that.

I just started liking them in the early/mid 70's when they had Archie Griffin running (only 2 time heisman winner) and Woody Hayes coaching and I kept with them.

I also am a fan of U.K. (of course), Georgia and Alabama. I don't call it bandwagon, I call it beiing able to like more than one team. U.K. and OSU are my two main favs though.

To put in simply, I am a fan of all of college football along with any other NCAA sport, any of them imo beats the pro game by a long shot.

Basketball is much more simple ...it is U.K. and no one else.

Here's a tough one for ya...

If UK and OSU were playing against each other in football, who would you want to win?

I listened to USC on the radio in the late 70's when they had Marcus Allen. I lived in San Diego at the time. When I moved to Northern California in 1984, I followed them and was a huge Rodney Peete fan in the late 80's. Then the middle linebacker (whom I blocked) from my cross-town rival high school (Jeff Kopp) got a scholarship to play there, and I really have not ever closely followed any team since. Suffered through some really bad years in the 1990's, but in my biased opinion we are witnessing and in the midst of a dynasty in the Pete Carroll era.

OSU-14

USC-35

This one could get ugly as if the Buckeyes were playing a SEC team.

Southern California will run, and run, and run away with this game.

Too much talent and speed for OSU to handle.

Southern California 35

Ohio State 14
