Not shocking to see this one go as it did.

Very surprised more people aren't talking about this game.

Great game and great atmosphere for the first game in the new Nest. Chase Richardson had a huge game with over 200 yds rushing and 3 TD's. JC rolled up over 400 yds rushing for the 2nd straight week. Welch had a great punt return of 70 yds for a TD. The D-line of JC controlled this game.

 

The Canadians had some nice looking players and a very respectful team. I think they lost their composure after getting down early. The start of the second half was what I was expecting out of them when they drove down field for their first TD.

 

All in all a great early season game, and now its time for JC to turn there attention to Bryan Station and the start of District play.

 

On a side note, we really miss Mr. Greer in the press box. It will take some time of course, but it just didnt have the same feel without "Touchdown Golden Eagles."

Station will be ready for JC.

Had anyone been around me in the house here while I was listening to WSIP's radio feed, they would've heard it once or twice!

 

And the new PA setup sounds like they've definitely done some good work on the sound system.
