They got off to a terrible start last season, opening up 1-6 and finishing the regular season at 3-7, before making a little run in the postseason. Maybe that's their plan for this year?!

Game was never in question. LCC dominated in all aspects of the game.

Set a school scoring record and played a nasty defense. 496 total yards offense. 1st team offense only played 1 possession in second half.Young " Cougars" played as well as their teammates. Chase Adams returns a kickoff for 75 yards and Travis Stephens has a 55 yard run from scrimmage. Banks and Logan Johnson combined for 220 yds.passing and 80 yds.rushing and had 5 passes.

Just as I predicted. A really strong LCC team and a not so powerful Greenup County team.

This is a very interesting GC team, first series moved the ball to LCCs 20 in less than 2 min. A snap over the QBs head however stopped the series. The defense then actually stepped up and had LCC punt, only to have the punt humbled and LCC score a few plays later. GC then again drove the length and scored but LCC came right back and scored again and again and again (to may agains to continue). What I see besides the lack of tackling on D is a team that just humps up like a beat dog once they get smacked in the mouth. If they don't want to get beat by 40 every game they just need to get down right mean on D. To borrow a movie line "hit 'em so hard they blow snot bubbles".

I expected Letcher Central to win, but not by a 61 point margin.
