Yes far more superior if you were ever in to Duran Duran, Ace of Base, and groups such as that as well. The Black Album is also the album that turned the casual listener onto Metallica and made them fall in love Metallica. Tragically the same day many Metal fans I'm sure committed suicide or also contemplated. Gotta go with Hangman and others on this one hoops. Metallica in the 90's......."sale out", "sold out", now obviously from what I am hearing, trying to buy back.

I'm thinking so. :lol: But way to throw it out there, I know if I was a fan of 90's Metallica I would use it for sure, but just couldn't let you have the originality points on it.
September 10, 200818 yr As for all the G&R fuss. Axl sucks. If it wasn't for Slash G&R would not have done no where near as much damage. In fact Slash and Duff are so strong that they could even resurrect the career of Scott Weiland who already had 27 stints in rehab. This should be proof in itself. I could never stand behind a G&R release without Slash and his Les Paul. He is the only reason I get screeched out by Axl just to listen to G&R.

Metallica was a great 80s band, but I'm not much on what they did in the 90s. If I truly felt that they changed their musical style because they felt they were growing as artists, I'd have no gripe with them. However, I think they did so simply so they could get more fans and become more famous. In that respect, it worked. Give me a band like Pearl Jam... They could've been the biggest band in the world, but they stayed true to themselves and their music and didn't change for commercial success. They still sell out every show, but they can do so knowing that they did it "their way" and not necessarily the "popular" way. This is all my opinion, though. I know some disagree, but what would be the fun of talking about it if they didn't?

I'm sorry but they did nothing for Weiland. He joined up with them only months after his last STP tour. If anything, the DeLeo's helped resurrect his career buy getting back together with him and getting him out of that awful, awful band.
