LC was used in the exact same way on this site a few years ago (we had beaten someone who had beaten someone, etc. and were a "state contender" as it were. It's an older thread, but may still be around somewhere.) I'm almost always for the small schools in the mountains and would love to see Jenkins make some real noise. Just having a little fun. We've been there, too. Not disrespecting Jenkins. (I would put up a Championship banner here "Hypothetical State Champs" if they would let me!)

I do. The QB they lost midway last season to injury is back, most starters, plus a quality tranfer at RB to add to an already loaded backfield. I think they are much better than the banged up crew that played the final half of the season.

Panthers have there hands full the first Leonidas not to mention looking 3 weeks down the road to much stiffer competion.

Happens every year. The trick is to develop some new ones. Next year we lose some backs. More are on the way.

I don't know much about Hazard and what they got back this year, but IMO the top 5 could be listed in any order.

It is possible. Throw in Clay County and it's no early schedule for the faint of heart.

This game will come down to who is more physical on D. KC did have some problems with HCHS getting after them.

So Week three meaning the week you are playing Bell or after you play Bell you will be in the top 5. Because Knox Central won't beat Bell Co.

You don't have to beat Bell. You don't even have to predict you'll beat Bell. All you have to do is hint you might beat Bell and all their BGP fans start getting upset. Lighten up folks, why do you care if a player thinks enough of his team to predict a win? He's supposed to and I commend him for it. In fact, I think he has a chance to get it done. We actually play each other in the third game and everything gets settled then.

 

I hope Coach Hilton is just as confident as C-25 is.

I agree PepperII, Knox Central has given Bell County their fair share of tough games that could've went either way the past 4-5 years. They will turn the corner on them eventually, it has to happen at some point, perfection isn't possible.

Not all Bell Co. fans are that way. I know Knox Central is always a test. That being said I feel good about our game with them this year.
