LC was used in the exact same way on this site a few years ago (we had beaten someone who had beaten someone, etc. and were a "state contender" as it were. It's an older thread, but may still be around somewhere.) I'm almost always for the small schools in the mountains and would love to see Jenkins make some real noise. Just having a little fun. We've been there, too. Not disrespecting Jenkins. (I would put up a Championship banner here "Hypothetical State Champs" if they would let me!)

Not having a winning record in 6 years, I believe they are going to have to do more than that to warrent a top ten ranking. Even though they should win their district this year, and will probably also beat Lynn camp.

Hazard is a good 1A team, but they are not better than the teams ranked below them.

They should be the favorite to beat us most years. Numbers usually kill us with them. We have won 2 out of the last 3, but we cannot win @ Whitley at all. They reeled off like 18 straight wins on us before that. They should also beat NL, but I still see problems with Clay and Letcher for the Colonels.

The score was'nt what I was talking about. It was the talent on the field. Whitley was stronger and quicker than Pulaski and punished them physically.

The only teams that count scrimmage wins or even consider them as substantial grounds for defeating the opponent is usually not very good. I wish people would learn that a scrimmage is a scrimmage and they have zero, absolutely zero weight in factoring in who would win the actual matchup. The worst way to do a poll is by who beat who anyway because there is always someone who beat someone else, ever heard of 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. I believe by your philosphy Jenkins should have been State Champs last year because they beat someone who beat someone who also beat someone that beat the other team that beat Louisville Central in the 3rd week.:irked:
