That entire school is being renovated and added to. Maybe that will come down the road, but I think the most important that for the Superintendant was the school in general, followed by the gym, etc.

He was going to retire after last season depending on an assistant coach wanting to take over as head coach. The assistant did not want the job so he stayed on and will keep coaching through the 2009 season!

Perry County Central 14-19 Enough said

Anderson County 20-6 Lost some, but will still be OK

Montgomery County 24-8 Best record from last year, but much younger this year.

It was either Payne or Jones I am not sure and Gay wouldn't go into details only to say that at this point none of the current assistants want the head coaching position.

As far as Jones getting fired for any reason, I would have to see it to believe it. McCreary is a very very political place and Jones is right in the middle of the mix so to speak!:scared:

Thats what I have heard and others are talking about it also. Jones has basically had the best team, other than Lincoln of course, in the region and cant get out of his district.

You are correct. The 5th/3rd is a great tournament to play good competition. This is where McCreary will see how they stack up.

Best Schedules the past few years in the region have been West, Wayne, Boyle and Lincoln Co. If you look this year at thier schedules on KHSAA it seems these teams again have great schedules.

 

As far as Jones at McCreary getting fired- dont see it happening! Plus Watts is just a junior- Mccreary will be good this year and next- McCreary along with about 3-4 other teams in region will have shots the next 2 years.

 

As far as McCreary being political- isnt every school system anymore?:confused:
